SFNYC started, like most things, as a group thread. A few founders and operators comparing notes between flights, asking each other for the dinner reservation, the recruiter, the apartment sublet, the honest answer about the term sheet.
The thread turned into a recurring dinner. The dinner turned into a few of them, on both coasts. Now we add one class a year and keep the group small.
We are early. The 2026 class is the second one. If you spend real time in both cities and would show up to a Wednesday dinner even when you are tired, we would like to meet you.
Who we look for
- You spend real time in both San Francisco and New York, by choice.
- You are generous with introductions, taste, and time.
- You are building something. A company, a craft, a body of work.

The 2026 class
We are accepting applications through June 30, 2026. We read every one, and earlier applications get more of our attention.
